Duncan Johnston-Watt (Founder & Chief Executive Officer) is a serial entrepreneur and industry visionary with over twenty years experience in the software industry.Immediately prior to founding Cloudsoft Duncan was CTO at Enigmatec Corporation, the enterprise data center automation company he founded in 2001.A Computerworld Smithsonian Laureate for his pioneering work introducing Java Enterprise to financial services, Duncan holds an MSc in Computation from Oxford University and a BA in Mathematics and Philosophy from Leeds University. |

Alex Heneveld (Co-Founder & Chief Technology Officer) brings twenty years experience designing software solutions in the enterprise, start-up, and academic sectors. Most recently Alex was with Enigmatec Corporation where he led the development of what is now the Monterey® Middleware Platform™. Previous to that, he founded PocketWatch Systems, commercialising results from his doctoral research. Alex holds a PhD (Informatics) and an MSc (Cognitive Science) from the University of Edinburgh and an AB (Mathematics) from Princeton University. Alex was both a USA Today Academic All-Star and a Marshall Scholar. |

Adrian Cole (Chief Evangelist & CTO, jclouds) founded the open source project jclouds in March 2009, following 15 years of production engineering and deployment automation in financial services, health care, hosting, and education contexts. He’s actively engaged in cloud interoperability and devops circles around the world, collaborating with cloud ISVs and service providers, and open source communities. Adrian joined Cloudsoft as Chief Evangelist and CTO, jclouds in August 2011. |

Paul Wiltshire (VP, Sales) is responsible for driving Cloudsoft’s global revenue growth and meeting increasing demand for cloud computing software and services. He brings 25 years of sales management experience in the technology sector, including senior roles at Open Environment, Persistence Software (now Progress Software), and Bachman Information Systems where he was co-founder and managing director.Paul holds an Honours degree in French and English from Manchester University. |

Aled Sage (VP, Engineering) brings over a decade’s experience developing distributed applications, mostly in the enterprise sector. Particular areas of interest include concurrency, fault tolerance and transactional semantics.Prior to joining Cloudsoft, Aled was Chief Architect at Enigmatec Corporation. He holds a PhD (Computer Science) from the University of St Andrews. |

Derek Gray (Co-Founder & Non-Executive Chairman) is an active supporter and investor in early stage technology companies and is on the Advisory Board of Pentech Ventures. Derek was formerly an Executive VP with Adobe Systems Inc, a NASDAQ company with sales in excess of $2bn, and was responsible for worldwide sales and marketing. He also played an integral part in overall business development, strategy, and mergers and acquisitions activity.Derek is Chairman of Maxymiser. |

Shawn Findlan (Non-Executive Director) is a recognized financial services industry expert, with more than 20 years of proven, first-hand experience in financial services, emerging, technologies services and infrastructure and architecture strategy. Before founding West Avenue Capital, of which he is Managing Partner, Shawn was executive director and global head of Strategic Engineering and Architecture at Morgan Stanley. Prior to Morgan Stanley, he served as VP of Infrastructure and Innovation for Global Credit Trading at J.P. Morgan, as well as Infrastructure Manager for Global Credit Risk Management and Global Derivatives. Shawn was awarded Best CTO on Wall Street in 2007, a Smithsonian-ComputerWorld Laureate in 2006, and Best Technology Initiative on Wall Street in 2005. |

Glenn Woodcock (Investor Director) has fifteen years of business experience in technology and finance companies. Glenn began his commercial life developing software in computer automated machining, compression algorithms for online computer games (pre broadband!), and then got work in the real world in investment banking, pricing bonds. After seven years responsible for various aspects of risk systems for the Royal Bank of Scotland, Glenn decided to start Andromeda Capital, specialising in investment in financial technology. Earlier on Glenn did post-graduate research in mathematical biology and has a degree (first class) from Sheffield University in Astrophysics. |

Linda Bernardi brings leadership experience spanning two decades in emerging and future technologies, and includes entrepreneur and multiple senior executive leadership and consulting positions. Most recently, Linda founded StraTerra Partners, a consultancy offering strategy services in enterprise oriented technologies. Prior to StraTerra, she founded ConnecTerra, Inc., the leading software provider connecting RFID technology to large enterprise IT. Earlier in her career, Linda held several executive positions, serving as VP of Strategy and Innovation at Capgemini, prior to which most notably she held various senior technology positions for 12 years at the think tank, BBN, in Cambridge, Mass. |

John Mathon, brings extensive experience of recognized technology innovation in enterprise architecture and software, emerging technologies and financial services. While still at MIT, he met Vivek Ranadive and together they founded TIBCO, a leading provider of middleware, SOA and business integration software. John was also the inventor of The Information Bus (TIB). In 2000, John founded and served as CTO for Slam Dunk Networks, which provided reliable communication over the Internet. Most recently, he founded Mathon Systems, an enterprise software company that was awarded four patents in the areas of metadata capture and management for file systems. |

Rich Miller is President of Telematica, Inc., a holding company and consultancy with a practice in product strategy and business development for cloud computing and networked technologies. Rich most recently served as CEO of Replicate Technologies, Inc., a provider of configuration management technology for virtualized data centers. Prior to Replicate, he co-founded and served as COO of Univa Corporation (now Univa UD), a provider of high performance computing and datacenter management systems. Rich’s career as technologist, consultant, executive, and an early investor has focused on the formation of technology companies and their offerings that provide wireless network infrastructure, enterprise messaging utilities and application service infrastructures. |

Geva Perry has 15 years of experience as an executive in the enterprise software industry. His blog on cloud computing Thinking out Cloudis widely read and he is a frequent speaker on the topic at corporations and industry events. He has been an advisor to a number of companies, small and large, on cloud computing related strategy and marketing, including startups Heroku, Twilio, Sauce Labs, Xeround, Cloudsoft and others, as well as large publicly-traded telcos and hosting providers.Most recently Geva was at GigaSpaces Technologies for five years during which he held a variety of executive roles. As General Manager Cloud Computing, he was responsible for all global go-to-market activities at GigaSpaces related to cloud computing, including strategy and positioning, product marketing and strategic alliances. Prior to this Geva was Chief Marketing Officer, EVP U.S. Operations, and EVP Business Development. |

Larry Rosen is a recognized authority on open source and intellectual property, attorney at law and author of Open Source Licensing: Software Freedom and Intellectual Property Law(Prentice Hall 2004).Larry is founding partner of Rosenlaw & Einschlag, a technology law firm with offices in Los Altos Hills and Ukiah, California, that specializes in intellectual property protection, licensing and business transactions for technology companies.In addition, Larry serves as board member and legal counsel for the Apache Software Foundation and board member of the Open Web Foundation. Larry has also taught at Stanford University and is advisor to a number of open source companies including Black Duck Software and JasperSoft Corporation. |

Erik W Troan was the first engineer at Red Hat Software, and served in multiple roles there including Vice President of Product Engineering, Senior Director of Marketing and Chief Developer. During his tenure with the company Erik was responsible for leading development for Red Hat Linux, RPM and Anaconda. He managed a multimillion-dollar budget, participated in two public stock offerings and assisted in acquiring and integrating nine other companies.He went on to found rPath, a leader in virtual appliance creation and management solutions for internal and external cloud deployments. At rPath Erik was responsible for all aspects of product design and implementation and for the company’s IT infrastructure.Erik has coauthored two editions of Linux Application Development. He holds BS degrees in Computer Science and Computer Engineering from North Carolina State University and a Masters degree in Economics from the University of Virginia. |
